Air Bank has been the most innovative Czech bank since the beginning, basically bringing mobile banking, contactless and mobile payments to the market. However, in recent years, it has shifted its focus to smaller everyday improvements, losing relevance especially among younger customers.
To prove that Air Bank is still alive and kicking when it comes to innovation, we set out to create an entirely new way of making contactless, hands-free payments with… NFC sneakers.
One small step for a bank, one giant, stylish leap into Gen Z’s hypebeast culture. Or maybe just the first simple PR stunt to win back Air Bank’s perception of an innovative leader.
